Remittance Software Development.

Two boxes and an arrow. Then the real product. Most remittance concepts stall when the transfer flow works and everything around it does not: onboarding and KYC tiers, compliance workflows, transaction logic with retries and reversals, partner integrations, payout operations, exception handling, and the admin and reconciliation tooling a licensed business needs. A transfer flow is a fifth of the work. We build the other four fifths, as one system designed for production from the first sprint.

02 / How we build it

How we build it.

Money movement is a state machine with external dependencies that fail in uninteresting but expensive ways. We model every transfer as a sequence of ledger entries and partner calls with explicit states, retries and compensations, so a timeout at a payout partner never leaves a customer debited without a credit. Partners sit behind adapters, so corridors can be added or replaced without product changes. Compliance and operations tooling are built in the same sprints as the customer flow, because that is where a remittance business actually spends its time.

Key architecture decisions
  1. 01

Transfer orchestration as an explicit state machine with idempotent partner calls

  2. 02

Ledger as the single source of truth; partner balances reconciled against it daily or continuously

  3. 03

Partner adapters so corridors, PSPs and payout networks can be swapped without touching the product

  4. 04

Card and document data kept out of scope through tokenising providers; sensitive data encrypted and access-logged

05 / FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

01

Do we need a licence to launch a remittance product?

In most jurisdictions yes, or you partner with a licensed institution (banking-as-a-service, EMI, MTO or PSP). We build the product to fit the model you and your legal advisors choose and implement the controls the licence requires.

02

Which payment partners do you integrate?

PSPs such as Stripe and Adyen, open-banking providers, card acquirers, mobile money operators, cash pickup networks, regional payout partners and banking-as-a-service platforms. Each sits behind an adapter so you are not locked in.

03

We already have a working transfer flow. Can you build the rest?

Yes, and that is the most common starting point. We audit the existing flow, then add compliance workflows, transaction logic, partner integrations, payout operations, reconciliation and admin tooling around it.

04

How much does remittance software cost?

A focused MVP with one corridor, provider KYC and an admin panel starts around 60k USD and takes three to five months. Multi-corridor platforms with native mobile apps are scoped individually, typically in the 120–250k range.
